Airkel® a creation for a 5-star hotel
In order to meet the high standards of this 5-star boutique hotel’s clientele, whom are accustomed to its refined features, it was essential to install a cigar lounge. Built in 1872 by the famous architect Anthony Krafft, this listed building did not have a great deal of space for housing the Airkel® technology. Above all the hushed atmosphere of the building had to be preserved. The technology had to be completely invisible in order to preserve the refined ambiance and in keeping with the style of the adjacent Leopard Bar. The clean and dirty air ducts were stretched from the basement to the roof via an unused lift shaft.
A successful marriage between tradition and cutting-edge technology
